We've had some exciting news the past couple days...progress updates, Falcon sports season starting. Let's keep it coming. MAP scores are in and they are some of the best ones we have had in a while!
Families will get their students' scores on back to school night. We will be sharing some general statistics very soon. Congrats to our students for their success and thanks to all of teachers for their hard work!

Volleyball Season is here!
For this year the grades participating will be grades 6-8. We have been blessed with growth and increased numbers. As a result, to make sure our athletes get enough playing time to grow and learn we are capping the participation to grades 6-8.
Next week Is our first official practices.
B and C teams will practice Monday 5-7 pm and A team will practice 7-9 pm. All practices will be at the St Lawrence Gym.
Just a friendly reminder all athletes must have a current physical form.
If you need a new uniform top please let your coach know as soon as possible.

Co-Ed Volleyball season is just around the corner!
Grades 6-8: If your family is interested in participating, please email Superintendent Kim Burger at kburger8@kelsoc-7.k12.mo.us or contact one of the coaches, Katie Glastetter, Jenna Taylor, Sonya Glastetter, or Erin Drake. Please let one of the above know ASAP. Official practices will start next week.

ANNOUNCEMENTS 6/1/22
Mrs. Julie Hahs has decided to retire. We are very grateful for her years of service not only at Kelso C-7 School, but other area schools. Her love of all things math and teaching is remarkable and has been a gift to our district. We wish her the best on her next adventure! She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Shannon Leggett has been offered a certified position in another program outside of our district. She has served our preschool program as a paraprofessional since January. Mrs. Leggett shared her bright light, teaching experience, and huge heart with all of us every day. We are grateful for the time we had with her.
We wish both of these amazing ladies the best!!!

⛱🌞Noon Dismissal for Summer Break!!⛱🌞
At 12 noon today, we will dismiss for summer break. Friendly reminder there will be no afterschool care but our buses will run their normal routes.
During the summer the school office will be open Monday through Thursday except for major holidays, if your family would need anything.
Summer school begins on June 3 at our regular start time and dismisses at noon. An estimated bus route time will be coming home with your students today if you indicated the need for transportation.
We are so grateful for another year with your students and to serve our greater community.
It is our hope that each of you make lots of memories, have lots of fun and are safe until we see each of you again in August!
