Good morning! Today is a big day on campus. The floor is being poured for the new addition. There is a lot of extra vehicles around, but it should not interrupt the drop off line. We didn't want anyone to be alarmed by all the extra vehicles. This will be happening more frequently in the near future. The metal for the building is expected to be delivered within the next couple weeks as well. Thank you again for all the support and votes to help our school grow. 💙💙

Welcome to the Kelso C-7 Family...Anna Wagner!!!
Mrs. Wagner will be joining our team for the 2022–23 school year!

From Mrs. Wagner, "I’m excited to work at Kelso C7 because this school and community mean a lot to me! I have lived in New Hamburg all my life and I am a former Falcon! I am grateful for the opportunity to come back and help these students learn and grow! My favorite thing about Kelso C7 is the close knit family- like atmosphere!
One of my favorite quotes- Excellence is not being the best, it is doing your best. -unknown "
We are beyond excited to welcome home, Mrs. Anna Wagner!!

MAP Testing Begins tomorrow for grades 3-8!
To jump start the excitement, Friday afternoon we honored the students that earned proficient or advanced achievement levels during Spring 2021 with a medal ceremony. We are so proud of our students and their hard work! All of our students worked so hard and do so well! Check out the district Facebook page for pictures of our awardees.
For some of our families, this is their first time taking the MAP test. Here's some tips to help your student ease into the week:
Encourage your child to do their best. We know that each child has their own abilities, strengths, and areas of struggle. Each child's best may look different.
Get a good night sleep. We know that it is ball season, longer sunny days, and so many many activities, but it is crucial for our students preparation that they get a good night sleep everyday but especially the next two weeks. Every student will not be testing every day but the school will be testing for the next two weeks as a whole.
Eating a good breakfast sets your child up for the energy they need to thrive. If your family doesn't have time in the morning, the district continues to have free lunch and breakfast. Please take advantage of it while it's available. Having a grumbly tummy is hard to concentrate with.
For any students that do not have their headphones at school, please bring them. Students will need headphones for the test.
Parents we need your help. It is important for the classrooms that students arrive on time before the bell (7:55 am). If your child is eating a school breakfast please arrive in time before that so that they didn't eat and be in their classroom by 755.
We appreciate the team effort that allows our school to continue their academic success every day not just during testing. Thank you!!! Good luck to our Falcons testing over the next two weeks!! We are proud of all of your hard work every day! 💙💙
